It is very rare that we get to see the Northern Lights here in Seattle, but the Summer of 2021 not only gave us the hottest year on record, but also a breathtaking explosion of color over our mountains and waters. This print is inspired by that lucky evening, even if it meant setting an alarm to get up in the middle of the night to photograph the sky. The trees you see in the print are from a drone photograph of a gorgeous tree-scape near my home. I hope you love this print as much as I enjoyed painting it for you.
